At Armours Edge Landscape Construction we pride ourselves in making our customers feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process of their project. We take honour in our work from the initial design phase and stand behind all our projects after completion. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients through the crafting of sustainable landscapes.

Meet the Team

  • Kyle Somani

    OWNER/OPERATOR

    Kyle’s passion for the landscape construction industry came into fruition in 2017. He started as a labourer for Clintar Kitchener in the summers while attending the University of Guelph for criminal justice. Although Kyle’s dream as a child was to pursue a career in law enforcement he quickly realised upon finishing his degree that landscape construction was his true calling. Kyle has worked for Clintar ever since and has been groomed by his many mentors into a foreman for landscape construction and a supervisor for winter operations. With that being said, Kyle has always had an entrepreneurial mindset and believes the recipe for success lies within a strong company culture, attention to detail and building strong relationships with clients. With seven plus years experience in the industry Kyle continues to learn and adapt with the times and is extremely motivated in keeping Armours Edge a locally trusted landscape construction company for years to come. When he’s not playing in the dirt you can find him at the cottage with friends and family or on the golf course!

  • John Trollope

    HEAD FOREMAN/OPERATIONS MANAGER

    John started his career in the golf course construction industry in 2000. Transitioning to the residential/commercial landscape construction industry in 2005 when he started A & T Landscaping. John has worked on projects of all scopes and sizes. With his 24 years of experience he can help you bring any vision you have into a reality. John spends his spare time out on the golf course or with his two kids Kira and Ashton.

Our Process

  • After we have established contact with a client we will come out to meet the client face-to-face, get a feel for what you would like done, and record the necessary measurements based on the specific project

  • Our team will then work with you to make sure the estimate fits within your budget. We also offer 2D or 3D designs upon request

  • Our team of professionals will begin to construct your visions into reality paying attention to detail and sustainability
